The Ox Yoke Retreat, a Nebraska Horse Vacation, our summer pasture for 100 head of angus cows and a small herd of colorful longhorns, offers you the luxury of a private setting, and a fully furnished, two-bedroom country home. There is a large multi-stall barn and pasture and corrals for your horses. Everything is recently remodeled and very clean.

The Nebraska Horse Ranch is located at the small ghost town of Marsland, Nebraska, pop. 6 (last time we checked!) in the scenic Pine Ridge area of Northwestern Nebraska. Highway 2/71 runs one mile to the west of Marsland.

While visiting the Nebraska Horse Ranch, you will enjoy the beauty of the Niobrara River, which runs through the ranch. Hiking, riding trails, as well as the close proximity of historic Fort Robinson offers activities for everyone. The Burlington - Santa Fe Railroad circles the perimeter of the property alongside the Niobrara River. Fishing, riding and exploring are just a few of the activities you can enjoy doing at your leisure.

At the Ox Yoke Retreat, you are only a short driving distance from the following sites. Visit the pristine Nebraska National Forest and Chadron State Park where you can trail ride or hike to your heart's desire, most of the time without running into another human being. The small, friendly town of Crawford offers several antique stores and nice coffee shops and restaurants.

Our rates are $100/night for up to 6 people. For larger groups, please contact us for rates. The horse pasture and stalls are $5/nights per horse. Also available are camper trailer hook-ups located in the yard of the ranch house. The cost for hook-up is $10/day.
